As part of the nation’s 250th anniversary celebration, the Little White School Museum will share the story of Kendall County from prehistoric times through the Civil War. Museum Director Roger Matile will explore the area’s earliest indigenous residents, the arrival of early settlers, and the events that shaped the community during this pivotal period.

The below activities are available to Kendall County residents throughout the semiquincentennial:

Peoria Riverfront Museum: All-Illinois Student Access Pass
- Starting January 31, 2026, the Peoria Riverfront Museum will be offering free admission to all K-12 students living in Illinois.
Kendall County Office Building Display Cases
- The Oswegoland Heritage Association will be presenting a rotating exhibit of historic local artifacts on the 2nd floor of the Kendall County Office Building throughout the year.
